Kota the Triceratops is born

It was in the late Cretaceous period approximately 68 million years ago when the Triceatops roamed parts of the world that is now North America. The name Triceratops, which literally means "three-horned face", is derived from the Greek tri- meaning "three", ceras meaning "horn", and -ops meaning "face".

It is know suprise then that following on from last years Pleo the dinosaur that childrens toymakers Playskool have come up with waht is to be one of this years top selling toys; Kota: My Triceratops.

Kota the Triceratops measure almost 40 inches long and is in fact a robot in the shape and size of a baby triceratops. Playskool, the makers of Kota the Triceratops have developed this life size Triceratops robot with interactivty in mind. Kota the Triceratops is equipped with eleven sensors strategically placed around the body which react to movement and sound triggering Kota's own motion and audible responses in only a way a baby Triceratops dinosaur can.

Kota the Triceratops out in time for Christmas 2008

Kota the Triceratops or Kota: My Triceratops as it is branded by Playskool, is due for release on the 30th September 2008, just in time for the Christmas 2008 present buying rush. As in previous years, demand for the top toys is extremely high with my shops selling out well before then end of the Christmas buying period. This baby dinosaur robot, will without doubt be one of those toys that will sell out as soon as it is released.
